About Hell's Canyon Ironworks:
Hell's Canyon Ironworks is a small custom blacksmith shop located a few miles South of Hell Canyon, Arizona. It is owned and operated by me, Joel Richards.
I have been creating ornamental and functional ironwork for over 20 years, all while running a successful farrier business in Arizona. Forging horseshoes and running a successful blacksmithing and ornamental iron business is a natural progression. Living and working in the American Southwest my entire life has definitely influenced my designs.
My specialty is one-of-a-kind creations in forged iron, whether for your home, your ranch, or your business. I can create works of art from forged iron based on your detailed fabrication drawings, sketches, or just rough ideas.
Some of my accomplishments include: a Farrier Certification in the American Farrier’s Association; a member of the Arizona Artist Blacksmith Association; a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University in Wildlife Science.
